Clean Slate in ToV and much more
It is Draft Week, Woop Woop
Lots of stuff going on, first and foremost a few of the last Guild First Kills in the game for Safe Space.
First, with Koi dying to our brave warriors and the rest of the diving crew, we finish the last mob of NTov & TOV as a whole.
Then a certain something dragon roaming the Western Wastes had to get skewered from our Squad. We just needed to throw a few Shaman Offers at him, pleasing him and giving us the opportunity to unpack our Skewer. A nice lowman Klandi with 45 players being present. Another Sleepers Key in the pocket.
Sleepers, we are at the topic. We finally took the decision to head into Sleepers Tomb and have a nice look around, pocketing some Primals on the way out. And, the loot gods were gracious with us. Not only did we get 3 full spawns, we also got some nice Primals, 1H & 2Hs
And after a nice week of every day Sky, we also got a chance at the Hand of Veeshan.
Including a lot of Monk Belts, but unfortunately no Cleric Necks (What??)
Quotes of the Season:
To the latest fun GM Quake Event and free loot
Everybody was getting ready to race for draft targets, starting Saturday.
As a surprise for everyone, there was a late night short notice announcement made by the GM's to host a fun event to unite the Green Server once more and rain some free loot and xp for the winners. Or at least attempt to unite them, as the UN once more showed that the guild on Green are only partly willing to unite under a common goal, more pixel loot.
We decided our own faith and quickly broke down the gates to one of the city leaders. Further slaughtering our way through TOV, with hiccups included (DON'T MOVE, for the last time), we had a very successful evening completing at least some of the milestones.
What was in for us, some awesome choose your self drop from one of the city leaders (and of course its the KT head) and a Vulak'Aerr Ring
So what did we do to award those items? Without DKP being King on these, and not looking at our Bots, there is time to have a fun event on these. Perfect time during on of our 24/7 Sky events to queue up and rule on the winner.
For the first item, the man of the hour is, ....., drumrole,....., Tdidar, our Master Wizzy.
Awarded for all his dedication and efforts to the guild. Keep it up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The second pick (yes, the KT head, what else), was decided by a battle to the death, where the winner was, ...... drumroll, .....Hindmost, one of our Necro's.
Congrats to the 2 winners and the guild. Keep up the good work on helping the guild becoming a better place
It was a fun event, lots of booze, dragon meat BBQ and elf slaves. What better can there be. Enjoy the well deserved loot
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are looking forward to a nice draft round, some nice juicy targets ahead, some of the last First Kills for SafeSpace, so looking forward to.

Quotes of the Month
Another one Bites the Dust
And here we are again with the latest news around the Elite Force called Safe Space. Thanks all for tuning in Today.
We have the exclusive opportunity to present to you today, and today only - the new, limited time only, Vyemm Dragon meat, fresh from the Skewer Squad.
Another First Kill for us, bringing us closer to the all completed what there is worth to kill. And as you all know us we hate Zerg META, so we low manned it with 69 peeps.
On the way to the event, we also stumbled over a few more rather annoying dragons, which we butchered to tasty snacks on the go.
We visited a few more friends of us which were in dire distress. Nothing then a good old handholding. There was also loot, but who cares about that eehh?
And yes, Safe Space is still recruiting. If you think you have it in you, to join and be part of our Safe Space, then hit up any member or recruitment officer near u. We will get you there. And who knows, maybe one day there is the chance to join the famous Skewer Group of our raid force.
Above, Safe Space enjoying the Open Vulak Raid recently during an early Draft week Quake, Vulak Loot inclusive - and yes Taichi, lots of people are jealous.
Safe Christmas Everyone
Ho Ho Ho, it is this time of year, being freaking cold outside, perfect time to play P99 (after all the RL family drama has drunkenly surpassed us)
Of course, we have been busy not only on the RL side, but also in the game. Lots of Quakes over the festive season, were we could snag the one or other kill from our competition.
With Double Loot enabled, some early Christmas presents were delivered in form of lots of DKP spent, and some nice plat farms dropped way more then anticipated
Some nice Christmas Server Wide Events happened along the days were Safe Space had some nice participation as well.
Our members also spent lots of time honing their leet raid skills, like how to die properly or doing events like "Last Man Standing". There were some clear experts within us, but you can judge yourself.
And some End Of Year Quotes for everyone:
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Everyone
Vulak down by Safe Space
The day has come, the ultimate test for our little guild, getting a solo shot at an un-competitive Vulak.
With lots of other guilds watching closely we brought to them a big surprise. We killed Vulak in the first attempt. The biggest baddest Dragon in NToV got skewered by Safe Space.
For this day, lots of us tried to attend, our Euro/Asian players stayed up late (joined early), lots of retired people came back. Wifes were brought to tears, kids were left unattended, divorces filed. But seeing Vulak die in our hands was Safe Space's big day. A shot we don't get every day, being such a small guild. Still, we delivered the show we wanted.
Grats on all the Loot:
We have won Everquest (lol). Safe Space and its members can rest in peace to finally retire.
Another few guild firsts, Vulak we are coming
What else to say then we have been busy squirrels in the last weeks and we were diving deep.
We love our position as underdog and yeah, we thrive in it.
The last few Quakes have been valuable practice and we slaughtered a bunch of dragons, added a few more Sleeper Key's to our portfolio as well as stashes of riches and loot.
And now, with draft week in full swing, we added a few more guild first kills to our list. Not much left on there which still owes us a visit to the spanking table.
Yeah, and then there were the Quotes, hmm lets see what we have this time:
Quotes of the Month
We are still killing it
Although some might think it has been quiet around Safe Space, we are still around having fun and drinking beer and all!!!
We had quite a sweep during the last few Quakes, adding a few more Guild First Kills to our Rooster, leaving pretty much only the real "Big Boys" on the table for us. Zlandi was probably the biggest success for us.
Lots of Dragon Meat was served on the last BBQ party. Both Vulak and Vymm have fallen several times now under us together with our Fortress Members Kingdom and Castle.
This all has added us a few more important Key's to Sleepers Tomb, where we will soon be visiting as well, being the last area open for us to explore.
I'll keep it short Stay tuned for more news coming up
Have you contacted your Elf Lawyer already?!?
It has been good Dragon Slaying times lately. Lots of them lurking around and we can do what we are best in, chopping some dragon and enjoying dragon meat bbq afterwards.
Quakes have been a bit rare lately, but this does not mean we can kill stuff during repop days. We had very good sessions, adding lots of solo kills to our list, bringing us closer to a full sweep.
We added even a few Vulak/Vymm kills on top with our partners, making the last few weeks really enjoyable for most of us.
And of course we help our guildies further in their Epic adventures, recently adding another 2 magi's with staff to our list, gaining 2 of our mages their epic.
As some of you might have heard as well, Safe Space has had a small restructuring, to help simplify and improve our member experience and to make it enjoyable for every one. Invites are still going out, so if you want to join our team, to enjoy grouping or even dip your feet into raiding, come along and hit one of our officers (and hit them hard).
Quotes of the Month
EPIC Safe Space, here we come
Safe Space is famous for many things: End Content Raiding, having fun and getting drunk on raids together (always free Ale), but foremost being a Safe Space for everyone around Norrath (and no, being "nice" is not one of them).
But there is something else, members, friends, imposters enjoy a lot with us. That is having people to work and help on achieving your EPIC.
There are rumored to be many challenging, torturing quests back in the day on Live, and now of course on P99. Not many are as much feared as the EPIC Quest Line, introduced with Kunark.
On P99 we will ever only see the Epic 1.0 (being a few additional iterations with later expansions), still lots of people never saw the end to it. Some say a few being easier then others (damn Earth Staff / Vessel Drozzlin / pick a choose), many steps soloable, others entire raid forces struggle. In the end it is one of the greatest achievements for every player (back on Live or in P99) to get at least one of their chars equipped with an Epic. For some Classes its still one of a BiS (Best in Slot) item.
So here we are, with an EPIC collage, including most of the EPIC holders of Safe Space (some to be forgotten, but in so many pictures that happens, sorry) and some soon to become Holders of one of the most feared Questlines in Norrath. Congrats all on this epic achievement and thanks to all the hours spent helping of all the guildies within Safe Space, sacrificing time for others to at least once hold such a piece.
MORE Dragon Meat - Vulak Down, Vulak Down
It has been only a question of time, but with an unbelievable late night effort, Safe Space together with Kingdom and Castle pushed Vulak to his feet. Congrats to all on this mighty effort.
--- And it shall rain loot ---
Congrats to HEAL on his new Shield, and as we heard, one of 6 existing on this server after 69 kills.
And of course, lots of other stuff is going on. . Not that we are running out of stuff to do. We are bringing all of our members & alts closer to their Epics, and of course more greater loot hrhr.
And Grats Syras to his Dain Ring
Favorite Quotes of Shinko
And please don't forget, Safe Space is still recruiting We have a healthy team during all timezones. Just send a tell to one of our members for interest and more info!
Are you already dead, or still death looping
This was an exciting 2 weeks, with lots of fun and some nice raids and amazing lootz.
Especially for one of our members, not mentioning names here. Pictures are way better, rofl.
Of course, some Dragon meat was on our menu again, our favorite. A few of those meaty deliciousness had to dust the bite, err bite the sand or whatever this dirty patch is.
But this was not all, we cant having such a dreary diet. So we decided to add some giant meat, at least I think it was giant. The thingy had horns and all, but what ever, lets call it giant with horn meat.
But cant recommend this stuff, just too fatty, and all this metal bits and pieces, just awful. I think we will stay with the dragon meats and all, just so tasty.
Quote Highlights:
VP Dragons convert to Pacifism, Loot Is All Ours
I think everybody can agree that the game is its own art form. So here we go, with our first solo Yelinak kill.
Presenting on oil canvas to the public exclusively today, Shinko (with cutlery) being ready for dinner with his favorite food, dragon meat still served hot and bloody.
Especially the last quake was a huge success for our guild, pulling together and with great numbers, racking up several guild first solo kills.
Loot has been flowing in steadily and in abundant numbers. We compiled a few screens from the last weeks treasures hunts. What else to do then to show off
We are working on even greater numbers for our guild. So if you have a fancy for us, hit us up, recruitment is in full swing. Below, only one way to grow the team (new Ogre Tank Kids in the making)
Quote of the weeks:
Its time to face it
We are on a steam-rollercoaster, with lots of fun on the way.
Further progressing in NToV, with serious attempts on some little dragon called Vulak and the rest of his shenanigans
He finally met his demise during a joint kill with ST/FoW. But we will be back.
Its time that you join the true and only fun guild on this server and face it. There is no way out as we are the only SAFE SPACE
If you are interested, speak to one of our recruiters or any member, we will get you in the end
Quotes of the month will follow next week/post
